Founder Jerry Brassfield

When I built my business it didn't take long to realize that it was only as strong as the relationships it was built with.

People with whom I fostered real connections with were more likely to stick with me through ups and downs and believe that I could help them to accomplish their dreams.

I'd like to share some of what I've learned through the years about building relationships.

There are many principles that work together towards building strong relationships and here are the ones that I have found to be the most important.

1. Be sincere-

This is an attribute that is absolutely necessary when trying to build a relationship with someone. It can mean the difference between success or failure when implementing some of the other principles that I have listed next.

2. Focus on being interested, not interesting-

When you show a genuine interest in others, they will naturally be interested in you. Spend more time getting to know the other person rather than trying to prove them how smart you are or how interesting you can be. In combination with sincerity, this will let the other person know you care about them.

3. Be a good listener-

Listen to the needs and interests of the other person and center your conversations around them. This will naturally lead you to find areas in which you can help that person, whether financial or physical.

4. Be understanding-

Don't get upset if someone doesn't agree with you or tries to argue about why the products aren't for them. Just remember that it's not their fault that they don't know what you know about the products and that is why you can help them. Encourage others and give them a wakeup call about their health. Also keep in mind that most sales are not made on the 1st or 2nd encounter but rather they are most often made on the 9th! So keep calm and carry on with a great attitude and optimistic outlook.

5. Be someone you would want to spend time with-

Would you want to spend time with someone who is grumpy? Or someone who is lazy? Or rude? Then you shouldn't be those things either! Remember that people buy people first, not products. This means that you should focus on being someone that enhances the lives of others, someone who is enjoyable to be around, and someone who cares about others. A great place to start with is a simple smile and a passion for what you do.

6. Remember Romans 8:28-

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." This means that both successes and failures will ultimately work towards good. We can without hesitation say 'thank you' for every circumstance that comes our way and remain positive about the future. Positivity, much like negativity, is contagious, but unlike negativity, it will benefit those around you.

People all over the world saying 'Yes' to the GNLD and NeoLife Opportunity are doing so because they want to change lives: their own life as well as the lives of others. But once someone has made the decision to be in the business, now that person must take steps in order to accomplish the life changing they set out to do in the first place. This process starts with building relationships that lead to trust and that trust translates into a strong network of Distributors and customers.

Work, family and I: How to live a balanced Life

Jerry Brassfield is a businessman from California who founded a worldwide health & wellness company GNLD which is a parent company for NeoLife. Jerry's personal list of businesses contains other successful companies that do business in various fields such as car sales, restaurant networks and a real estate. Jerry Brassfield has a passion – to help people become successful in business and personal life. "Lately I have encountered many people who asked me how do I manage to own so many successful businesses, find time for family and to live a well balanced life.

That is a challenge that many of us encounter. In our daily life we have to fulfill many duties. Me and my life is not an exclusion. Yet one thing that I do understand is that the right focus in our life is what is required from us in order for us to life a well balanced life.

By being a successful distributor and founder of GNLD throughout years I gained high profits. I used these profits to make successful investments. Bigger part of these investments were concentrated around companies that had solid positions in the market. That is the reason of why I did not need to invest a lot of my time in them. Some companies did not require my time at all. That allowed me to concentrate my efforts on developing GNLD and NeoLife. This is my passion and the area in which I have the greatest level of influence for people in my environment.

For example - I have a car dealership group, but I never did any speech for them and did not speak with their sales personnel. I also have shares in network of restaurants, yet I never had an opportunity to speak neither with the restaurant personnel nor clients. Instead I focus on one company and I aim to add a highest possible value to it, to become the best I can be. 

A targeted focus is the only way to live a balanced life. That allows us to dedicate the biggest effort to that activity which gives the highest results. Then the rest of time can be given to other most important areas of life. For example - family, physical and spiritual health. 

A balance is a vital part if we want to live a productive and a happy life. If you are forgetting to take care at least one of the essential areas of life -  work, family, physical and spiritual health, then soon thereafter this area will have a huge negative impact to the rest of areas. Just imagine - if by not taking a proper care of your physical health you gain excess weight and you then try to play with your child. Or… think about this - what problems could arise in the family if you will concentrate on your work only and will become a slave to it. You will not be able to dedicate any time to any other things.  

GNLD and NeoLife opportunity contains something so unique which allows to balance all the areas of our lives and to gain serious results. We are given the opportunity to focus on our health and of those whom we care of. Finally - this allows us to turn this passion into a profitable business. Our families can play an important part in our business and our future generations will get a significant benefit from it. Then we will be able to take care of our continuous growth and personal development, strengthen our spiritual health and become even better persons than we are today.

I anxiously wait for the further partnership with the NeoLife family in 2014 so that together we could change lives of many more individuals.
